With a background as an artist on the West Coast, Pete is experianced in Soical Enterprise. Returning to UC as a mature student Pete was CEO of UC club Entre, despite not quite finishing his degree help jumped into the UCE in early 2023 and has been chipping away at the Product Design Degree on the side.
Now days you'll more likely find him out on the trails or running his next ultra marathon

The Hatchery is UCE's year-long incubator programme for students. It is the ideal place to nurture your social or commercial venture. You get access to resources and coaching from UCE staff, engagement with industry partners and mentors as well as support from like-minded entrepreneurs.
Support
Our immersive environment means students gain entrepreneurial skills fast. Our industry partners provide mentoring and help with legal, financial, and other professional services. The UCE staff are always around to act as coaches and mentors.

We have a dedicated space for Hatchery students in the Centreand as a member of the Hatchery, you can:
- Access the UCE space and facilities
- Attend our weeklyone-on-one sessions with one of the UCEcoaches
- Take part inUCE community events
- Talk to our Expert in Residence (eg. Accountant, Lawyers, Marketing experts)
- Get involved in the Hatchery workshops (eg. Build Your Lean Canvas, Market Validation, Pitch Practice)
- Get VIP access to our special events, networking and more.
Do you want to be part of the Hatchery?
To be part of the UCE Hatchery programme, you need to be a UC student currently enrolled in at least one course.
Step 1 - Register your interestor come visit us at UCE
Step 2 - Set up a time to meet with a UCE manager or come to our weekly drop-in sessions
Step 3 - Receive an invitation to join the Hatchery
Step 4 - You accept the invitation and join the UCE community!
