Email

UC provides email service to all current students泭using Microsoft's cloud service .

Student email addresses are UC's primary means of communication about matters relating to enrolment and studies at UC. Students are responsible for checking their UC email regularly (at least once a week).泭

Microsoft supports you connecting to your email using the following mobile devices:

• iOS
• Android
• Windows

Accessing your email via a browser

You can泭by entering your email address and password.

Access your email on an iOS device

We recommend using Microsoft Outlook as your mail client on iOS devices.

1. Download the Microsoft Outlook app from the App Store.
2. Sign in with your UClive account.

You can now use your @uclive.ac.nz email on your iOS device.泭

Access your email on an Android device

Android mail apps may look different across different devices, and these directions may not exactly match the options you see.

Use these steps as a guide or consult the manufacturer's help for your particular device.

From the泭Settings泭menu, select泭Accounts泭> select泭Microsoft Exchange Active Sync泭> enter your泭email address泭and泭password

Using another email address

If you prefer to use a different email address than the one provided by UC, you can use the 'forward' rule in Office 365 or you can redirect messages to another email account.
