With students from over 100 countries, UC are proud sponsors of the awards, alongside Christchurch Educated, the Christchurch City Council and ChristchurchNZ. The awards celebrate the social, cultural, academic and economic contributions of international students in tautahi Christchurch, one of the top 100 student cities in the world (QS 2025).
There are four award categories that allow us to recognise the contribution outstanding international students have made in the region, particularly in respect to our university or wider community.

3. Cultural Ambassador Award
4. Supreme Award Mayor's International Student of the Year Award
The winners will be announced at the Mayors Annual Awards evening on Thursday 7 August at Ng Hau E Wh National Marae.
