The Confucius Institute at the 厙ぴ勛圖 (CIUC) is part of the global Confucius Institute network. It is jointly managed by the 厙ぴ勛圖 (New Zealand) and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China).
CIUC was officially launchedon 1 November 2009 by then-Vice Premier of China, LI Keqiang.As the second Confucius Institute established in New 厙ぴ勛圖and the first in the South Island, CIUC represents a significant milestone in the advancement of cultural and educational exchange between China and New Zealand, as noted in Vice Premier Lis remarks on the occasion.
