I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the Okamatsu and Kimura-Steven Family for their generous support, which made my dream trip to Japan possible. I'm also incredibly grateful to the UC Scholarship Team, the Japanese Department at UC, and my amazing teachers—Ogino Sensei, Susan Sensei, Alistair Sensei, and Eri Sensei—for their unwavering support and guidance throughout my journey.
This trip allowed me to explore seven incredible cities in Japan: Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Nara, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Fukuoka. Each city deepened my understanding of Japan's rich culture and the warmth of its people.
What made this trip truly special was the authentic hospitality I experienced. Thanks to my Japanese friends, I had the chance to stay with them, give gifts from Vietnam, and practice my Japanese, which was met with such warmth and kindness.
Thanks to this trip, my Japanese has improved significantly, and I’m excited to share that I’ve secured an internship in an intensive Japanese programme.
